Where Imagination Meets Animation
A fully CG Sonic animation created using Cinema 4D and Octane Render, with additional compositing in After Effects. The project focused on building believable character interaction inside a complete CGI environment while telling a cinematic story through lighting, animation, and camera work.
A cinematic Toothless animation inspired by How to Train Your Dragon, created entirely in CG. The project focused on realistic dragon animation, high-speed camera movement, and detailed textures and lighting to recreate the timeless atmosphere of the original films in a fully digital environment.
A 3D reimagining of Conquest from the hit animated series Invincible, created to reinterpret one of my favorite characters through my own visual style and animation approach. The project combined cinematic lighting, cloth simulation, detailed hand animation, and dynamic flight movement to bring the character into a fully CG environment.
A VFX-driven construction video created as a comedic response to social media criticism, reimagining real-world 3D printed construction technology as if it were part of a video game. The project focused heavily on compositing, combining Blender-created 3D assets with live-action construction footage, alongside custom holograms, blue barrier walls, and interface graphics created in After Effects.
A cinematic Mandalorian-inspired animation focused on storytelling, large-scale environment design, and simulation work. The project expanded on cloth and smoke simulation techniques, featuring a hand-animated ship sequence and atmospheric smoke effects created in EmberGen on the robot character. I also recreated the show’s signature logos and motion graphics in After Effects to match the visual branding and atmosphere of the original series.
A stylized South Park-inspired animation created as the final project for my advanced animation class. Using Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, custom-built assets, and recreated elements from the original show, I built a 2.5D environment that moved a virtual camera through 3D space while maintaining the series’ iconic 2D look. The goal of the project was to visually present a haiku through animation, combining poetry, scene design, and cinematic movement into a cohesive short film.
